The AmérAsia Film Festival is pleased to present a double screening of the following films on Chinese-North American themes; Suite Suite Chinatown and Hollywood Chinese.
Seven artistically diverse, award-winning Chinese-Canadian filmmakers, Lesley Loksi Chan, Lillian Chan, Aram Siu Wai Collier, Heather Keung, Serena Lee, Howie Shia and Joyce Wong ask and answer the question of "What is your Chinatown" in Suite Suite Chinatown.

The acclaimed documentary, Hollywood Chinese directed by Arthur Dong, is starring the legendary actress Nancy Kwan. The 90-minute film illuminates a century of Chinese American cinematic history, from rare silent classics such as Marion Wong's The Curse of Quon Gwon (1916) to the contemporary critical and commercial success of Ang Lee's Brokeback Mountain (2005). The film features a treasure trove of clips, punctuated with personal accounts from the movie industry's most accomplished Chinese and Chinese-American talent.
